Feline multiple cats are equally fun and fulfilling as single cats, but they equally pose their unique opposition. As we want the household to be friendly, we must learn about the cats' interactions and their living conditions.
Here are some tips for managing a multi-cat household
1. Individual Attention:
One-on-One Time: Spend some special time every day with each cats separately. It will help at least to address some of the feelings sometimes given by a partner of neglect, thus helping you both feel closer.
Separate Playtime: Each cat should undergo specific play time in order to meet all their stimulation needs.
2. Adequate Resources:
Multiple Feeding and Watering Stations: They do this to avoid competition and preeminent conflict.
Separate Litter Boxes: It is advised that for cat's elimination needs one must use one more litter tray than the number of cats the house has.
Plenty of Scratching Posts: Offer many scratchable surfaces so as to decrease territorial stress.
3. Create Space:
Vertical Space: Allow the cats to establish areas of own territory, such as cat trees and shelves, so as to reduce physical contact between the cats.
Quiet Retreats: Maintain zones that will help cats avoid other interactions and perhaps even take a nap.
Rotate Toys and Furniture: It is recommended that the layout of your home is changed frequently so that you don't become bored with the look of the home.

4. Monitor Social Interactions:
Early Introduction: Cats should be familiarized to each other slowly in order for them to adapt to each other.
Supervised Playtime: Supervise children during play, so that nobody gets violent or abusive to others.
Separate When Necessary: In case of agitation, some cats may be temporarily released from contact with one another.
5. Consult a Veterinarian:
Behavioral Issues: In case of severe behavioral issues, it is recommended to seek the advice of a vet and get proper recommendations.
Health Concerns: It could also be beneficial to make frequent visits to the vet so that the medical condition that may be causing the aggression or stress is recognized and treated.
With these guidelines noted, you will be in a position to observe beneficial cohabitation between you and your multiple cats. Always keep in mind that time, tolerance, and constant attention will help you to achieve some kind of truce between those cute but often aggressive little predators.
